Malawi

Lake Malawi


The Lake Malawi or Lake called Nice is home to over 1,000 species of fish. This lake is the third largest in Africa with 584 km long and up to 80km wide. With a depth of 700 meters below sea level, the lake is located between Malawi, Mozambique and Tanzania are supplied with water and fish hundreds of villages. The southern part of the river presents Cape Maclear is the first national park in the world for fresh water, designated by UNESCO in 1984. The particular species in these waters is the mbuna, a type of fish which is known for what is fed directly from the hand of the people.
